Göran Zachrisson – Porträttet

Cinematic storytelling powered by Moviepedia.

No one else would say, "the only thing I know about this putt is that it’s a quarter to three," or describe a ball landing on the green "like a butterfly with sore feet." For more than half a century, golf commentator Göran Zachrisson has captivated viewers with his unique way with words. He has covered all manner of sports and sat down with the world’s greatest athletes for exclusive interviews. When filmmaker Jens Lind enters "Zache’s" life, he has just turned 80 and is still working at full pace—but the year that follows would prove to be the worst of his life. He is caught driving under the influence. The period leading up to his trial becomes a retrospective of a career that is now a piece of television history.
