Heartbeat Behind the Badge

Cinematic storytelling powered by Moviepedia.

Since 1997 approximately 2500 law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty. Every May during National Police Week, thousands of officers, active and retired along with surviving family members embark on a 300-mile bicycle journey. This documentary follows several riders as they push their physical limitations and honor those who have fallen in service to their communities. Along the way you will hear stories of how each rider deals with the emotional toll of losing friends and co-workers, and the impact of the ride on the families of the fallen. The ride culminates at the National Law Enforcement Memorial. A tribute for the fallen officers and the families of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.
