César Rengifo, el Rostro del Tiempo

Cinematic storytelling powered by Moviepedia.

César Rengifo, the Face of Time is a cinematic fresco exploring the life and legacy of one of Venezuela's most complete creators. From the rural dictatorship of Gómez to the explosion of the oil nation, the documentary traces the evolution of an artist who moved between art and social struggle, enduring repression to depict the soul of a people in constant transformation. Through his rich body of painterly, dramatic, and poetic work, the film reveals a deeply humanist intellectual whose vision—now honored in the National Pantheon—remains an indispensable compass for interpreting the roots, hardships, and hopes of Nuestra América.
